It all started when…

Carrie Ann is the CEO and Designer of DressHaute. Her first store opened in Canonsburg, PA on August 28, 2010 as Carrie Ann’s Bridal. She relocated to Oakdale , PA in November 2012 and rebranded to DressHaute in 2014. Throughout those growing years she focused on customer service and designing her own collection. In 2017 she attended her first New York Fashion Week at the Sony Playstation Theater. She continued presenting her special occasion collections at New York Fashion Week for Art and Beauty Magazine during Spring 2018, Fall 2018, Spring 2019 and Fall 2019. In the Spring of 2019 she showcased her designs at Macys in Ross Park, PA and San Antonio Texas stores. She decided to relocate her store in Oakdale to the South Hills Village Mall in Pittsburgh,PA. On June 28, 2019 she celebrated her Grand Opening. This was a strategic decision to expand her brand and reach a bigger demographic to increase awareness of her dresses. Over the years she designed and collaborated with  Mandy Gonzalez Broadway Actress, Miss New Jersey United States, Mrs Pennsylvania USA,  Mrs and Ms Universal along with winning best formal gown in other pageant systems. In 2019 Carrie Ann won a Glam award for  Biggest Fashion and Beauty Achievement of the year. 


Carrie Ann not only designs beautiful dresses she loves to give back to the community. She has a passion to help everyone feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. She created DressHaute TV and a program Teen Talk, where she takes local teenagers from all different schools and discusses everyday life issues. These teens discuss depression, sex abuse, sibling rivarly, bullying, social media and so much more. In 2020 her teen talk show was nominated and won Series of the year for Bethel Park TV. She also collaborates with Allegheny County Human Resources Holiday Project and Project Prom to help local kids and teens make their dreams come true. 


Carrie Ann received her Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University in Marketing and her MBA from University of Phoenix. She started her career as a Buyer for JCPenney and continued her successful career for fourteen years then transitioned to Kohls for where she was an Assistant Store Manager for seven years. She then accepted the  position of Store Manager for Bon Ton, a regional department store which later closed their doors.  Since 2018 she has primarily focused on building her business.


DressHaute is about loving yourself and having the confidence to make your mark in the world. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and when she can help her customers find their inner beauty with a beautiful dress it makes the trials and tribulations worth it.
